Dr. Biggers will first need to determine if you are a good candidate for same-day crowns. He will examine your teeth and mouth and take 3D digital X-rays for a closer look at your tooth structure and jaw.
Then the fun begins! All you have to do is sit back and relax as Dr. Biggers puts our office’s advanced technology to use. We’ll take digital impressions of your mouth using CAD/CAM technology. You won’t have any messy goop in your mouth that’s a given with traditional dental impressions.
Then our in-house CEREC milling center will take the information from these impressions to create a precision crown out of a single block of ceramic material. In no time at all, CEREC automation does what previously took two weeks or longer in a traditional dental lab!
Dr. Biggers will then inspect your new crown to ensure it is made to proper specifications and standards. Then he will cement it into place and make any final adjustments so that it blends in naturally and fits perfectly. You will walk out with a brand new tooth!
